So you've been playing Battlefield 2 for a while. You've played on EA servers, and you've played on clan servers. You really like to play on the 6thAD server because, even though friendly fire is on, the idiots who team kill and destroy friendly vehicles get kicked immediately almost all the time. The people who play on the 6thAD server also seem to be better skilled. And they seem to have fun with each other, like they know each other and are friends.

Lately, there seem to be a helluva lot of 6thAD members on. There's always six or seven, and some nights, there's as many as 20. It seems like the 6thAD actually kicks to make room for other clan members.

Maybe it's time you thought about joining the 6thAD.

Well, all of us have asked that question at some time or other. It's an easy question to answer because a 6thAD recruit will have three simple qualities:

1. You must enjoy BF2 enough to have become competant in all the classes, and very good in a specific class or activity such as piloting, tanking, or ground-pounding. (Competant means you will have more kills than deaths. Very good means you can consistently score in the top ten in a specific class on a specific map. )

2. You must be able play as a team member. This means helping another 6thAD member out when they ask, or sacrificing personal score and glory to guard/defend a flag or spawn point.

3. You must have the maturity to understand and appreciate that we are all friends first, and that a certain amount of respect and contribution (if not financially, then time and effort) from you is necessary to keep the 6thAD healthy and functioning.

So you come to tryouts, and you're a little nervous, and some of the guys are asking questions like how much time you spend playing Battlefield, have you ever been with a clan, what do you do best at in Battlefield, what time zone are you in, and crazy questions like that. Then you scrim for about an hour and you get your ass handed to you time and again. You think you did really poorly, and the 6thAD is one helluva talented clan, and there is no way they are going to let you in.

Why do you want to join the 6thAD:

3. Join our TeamSpeak and get to know the team.
4. Fullfill the below requirements for membership

Requirements for Memebership:

1. You have to register with the forum. Don't delay. There are several 6thAD officers wanting to contact you through the forums to send you important information, and they can't do it until you are signed up!

2. You need to register with the leagues the 6thAD competes in. This is so you are eligible to join in a match when needed. No reason to join a clan if you aren't going to play in league matches! And you can't play if you aren't signed up with the leagues.

3. You need to be a participating member of the clan for two weeks. This means getting in TS and meeting everyone, and playing on the public server as often as you can, if not daily. It means reading and posting on the forums. It means signing up in the forums for practices, scrims, and matches.

Once the two weeks have passed, and the GS and leadership have seen you participating and you have met all the requirements, someone on the GS will nominate you for full membership. There will be some discussion, but if all seems well, you will be recommended for full membership. Your full membership must be approved by the office of the CA. Once this is done, you are now a full member, entitled to the rights and protections of the 6thAD Constitution.

You are now eligible to make a donation and get console priviledges. Yes, you can be kicking and smacking the team killing smacktards. And your donation helps to pay for the server rentals each month.

So you can go from pubber to recruit to trainee to full member to admin in, on average, about a month! Along the way, you'll meet some nice hippies from California, some rough-riding Bush-loving cowboys from Texas, a few crazy Canucks, and some friends from Germany, England and France! And you'll find out something about yourself.

You do have what it takes to be a 6thAD recruit!

It all starts with filling out the Join Request!
